4-10-11 Good News

Today, Sister Gorham shared that her baby sister turned 16 and went on her first date yesterday - she was happy for her.

Sister Crowther shared that she is happy to have two bathrooms to clean at the church instead of 8 like in the other building.

Sister Loyo shared about her grandniece being baptized yesterday after her baptism had been postponed a few times.

Sister Pace shared her experience of being on the 10:00 PM news last week speaking about her brother coming home from the war.

Sister Angus shared that her son (4 years), Eli signed his first sentence this past week! He told his mom that he didn't want to take a shower, he wanted to take a bath! Very exciting news!

There wasn't any good news shared in Relief Society class today. But we are glad to welcome Sister Crowther to our teaching team. She is our new second Sunday teacher and she did a great job today!

Sister Crowther was happy to share that her husband was coming home after a week of being away for basketball tournaments.

Sister Gillespie shared that her granddaughter was baptized this passed Saturday.

Sister Pickett shared that her husbands latest film project called "Viral Signs" is doing really well on DeafTV.com - a fun success in their family.

Sister Bishara was excited to announce that she now has Sister Gorham to help her with the Relief Society activities. We're happy to have her on board to help with planning and doing our activities!

Sister Pickett said she was excited for our new fourth Sunday teacher, Sister Runnells, to start teaching us. She did a great job on her first lesson today!

Sister Dearinger pointed out to us and we all agreed that it was nice seeing Sister Loyo back with us after her surgery! Welcome back!

Sister Gorham is very excited to be in the Miss Deaf Utah Pageant again this year. We'll be rooting for you!!

Also, it was Sister Link's birthday yesterday, and we sang her the Happy Birthday song (most of it anyway :^)).

JanaLee Pickett shared that she has a new brother-in-law. Her sister-in-law, Katrina got married to a good man named TR. They are happy to have them as a part of the family.

Lisa Knapton shared that they are excited to have their mortgage reduced starting next month. They were concerned the rate and payments would go up, but are happy to have that not be the case.

Suzi Holland said she is happy to be on Christmas break and to have a break from teaching at BYU for a couple of weeks.

Sarah Parker says "Merry Christmas" to everyone!
